He&#8217;s recently learned to say &#8220;Toot toot!&#8221; when hearing a train in the distance; he beeps along with trucks backing up; and he offers a commanding impression of Harley Davidsons rumbling by.<br \/>\nNow he&#8217;s trying to move into three-syllabled territory.  Current projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Domendite<\/b>: Our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/finnegan\/2008\/03\/peety_weety.html\">silly word<\/a> for toes.  Finn likes to start poking my shoes insistently while trying to loosen the laces, saying &#8220;Domen, domen!&#8221;  The &#8220;-dite&#8221; part is now getting clearer.<\/li>\n<li><b>Polkabats<\/b>: We enjoy reading about these <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=xKl5vlFcdfsC&#038;pg=PT12&#038;lpg=PA2&#038;dq=polkabats+and+octopus+slacks&#038;output=html\">crazy creatures<\/a> &#8220;dropping smelly polka-turds on people down below.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><b>Poop Robot<\/b>: The little guy A) wears robot PJs, and B) loves to eat dried fruit.  How &#8217;bout we just leave it at that?<\/li>\n<li><b>Mahna Mahna!<\/b>: A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=QTXyXuqfBLA\">crazy old Muppet song<\/a> provides much distracting entertainment on car trips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finno is exploring language like mad.
