{"id":8390,"date":"2019-12-01T14:41:29","date_gmt":"2019-12-01T22:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/micronaxx\/?p=8390"},"modified":"2019-12-01T14:45:45","modified_gmt":"2019-12-01T22:45:45","slug":"giving-thanks-2019-style","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jnack.com\/micronaxx\/2019\/12\/01\/giving-thanks-2019-style\/","title":{"rendered":"Giving Thanks, 2019 Style"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!<\/p>\n<p>Unlike on holidays past (when we\u2019ve ventured to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/micronaxx\/2017\/11\/26\/yosemite-2016-now-it-can-be-told\/\">Yosemite<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/micronaxx\/2014\/12\/05\/thanksgiving-road-trip\/\">Hearst Castle<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/micronaxx\/2018\/12\/02\/slo-beach-bros\/\">sand dunes<\/a>, and elsewhere), this year we elected to stay close to home &amp; to Mr. Seamus. Happily, though, we were able to brush aside the constant rain &amp; put our cabin fever at bay.<\/p>\n<p>Following our feast (augmented by Finn &amp; Hen\u2019s cookie-making skills), my cousin Andrea &amp; her husband and kids came down from Marin to camp near Santa Cruz.
